In Time

I wasn’t sure I could be deserving of Her time.  I didn’t know if she would come back after I was so disappointing the first time, but she understands.  She knows that I’m a work in progress.  That’s why she came back.  She wants to make me better and stronger.  She wants to see me succeed.  She knows it’s best for both of us if I improve.  One day I hope to be Her star pupil.  I want her to be proud of me, and I know one day She will. If I can do a good job on the floors, I may get to clean her boots.  Until then, I’ll keep learning, sometimes the Hard way.
